Neon Trees on Stageside Live for CBS. I haven't blogged in quite awhile, and I have no idea where to start. My most recent gig that I am so proud to have been a part of, was for a new show on CBS called Stageside Live. It was a filming of a Live performance of Neon Trees. I was fortunate enough to be makeup/hair for this concert event. I brought along with me Makeup Artist, Allie Towell to help me with the night's adventures. Below is the link to the entire concert, which aired on CBS. I was so excited to be there, and so thankful. There were even a few tears shed that night. It was so much fun! Pee-Wee Herman's bike from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Earlier in the fall, I went out to Los Angeles to work on a tv show, (airing next year on the Travel Channel) called "Feed The Beast", with Mikey Roe as it's host. Not only was that show so enjoyable to work on, the cast/crew were so great to be around. I cannot wait to see it air in February 2013! During my trip to LA, I got to finally go to The Max Factor Beauty Museum! The museum was bought awhile ago by the Hollywood History Museum, but it's still an amazing way to take a few peeks into the Max Factor inventions, beauty rooms, tools, photographs and other gorgeous antiquities. I cried a bit in that museum as well. I was in the right place at the right time. The feeling of those rooms are indescribable - where Lucille Ball, Ava Gardner, Marilyn Monroe, Clara Bow and so many other starlets first got their makeovers and hairstyles they made so famous! It is truly a hidden gem of a museum. The Hollywood History Museum has alot of film and television memorabilia. Really some blasts from the past!
